Message from Headteacher

Ullswater Community College is an optimistic, inclusive and ambitious community, proud of its achievements and relentless in its drive for improvement in all aspects of its work. Students, teaching and support staff, governors and parents are working hard to ensure progress for students at every level of ability.

 

By providing the highest quality of teaching, pastoral care and enrichment activity, we seek to achieve high academic standards for all our students across a broad and balanced curriculum.

 

We are an 11–18, non-selective comprehensive school, committed to enabling students of all ages, abilities, aptitudes and aspirations to understand and achieve their potential.

 

Our status as a specialist school has brought significant resources, exciting challenges and massive opportunities. Our links with the world of business are extensive and, as a school committed to the principle and practice of partnership, we are building links with all members of the communities we serve.

 

In addition to our commitment to high academic standards, Ullswater Community College also places importance on helping young people to develop and demonstrate care and respect for others.
